From the moment you book, I'll guide you through every part of your newborn experience. From planning and preparing your session to gently guiding you through relaxed family portraits and safely posing your precious little one.


All you need to do is bring your baby.

Before your session

I'll find out a little more about your family, the little details that matter to you and your preferences in colours and the overall feel you are drawn to, whether it's earthy and warm, light and airy, deep and moody or minimalistic, I will create something special for you.


During your session

Newborns have their own little plans, and that's perfectly okay! There's plenty of time for feeds, cuddles, settling and breaks whenever they're needed. Make yourself at home, enjoy a snack, put your feet up and relax. You're in good hands.



After your session

Once your gallery is ready, you'll choose the photographs you love most. Each image is carefully edited in my signature style, ready to be treasured for years to come.

TWO BEAUTIFUL WAYS TO CAPTURE YOUR NEWBORN

We have two newborn experiences for you to choose from. Whether you love soft, neutral simplicity or beautifully styled portraits with delicate details, the option is yours.

CLASSIC POSED - with bespoke styling


For families who love beautifully styled newborn portraits, with thoughtful posing, gorgeous colours, delicate textures and carefully chosen props. You can choose whether you want your session to be more baby focused, family focused, or a beautiful balance of both. Sessions run for approximately one to three hours, depending on your chosen collection. If siblings are joining us, they’re welcome to head off for a play, lunch or a nap after the family portraits while I finish capturing your baby’s individual portraits.

RELAXED STYLE


A softer take on posed newborn photography, with simpler compositions and a more natural feel.


Sessions are approximately one hour, but as always, bub runs the show.

When should you book?


I recommend reserving your newborn session from your second trimester.


I accept just six newborn bookings per month, allowing flexibility around the unpredictability of little arrivals. Your session is reserved using your due date, then we'll confirm the timing once your baby arrives.


Ideally, I photograph newborns within their first 5–15 days, when they're often sleepier and naturally curl into those beautiful newborn poses.


If your baby is already a little older, don't worry! Beautiful portraits can still be created at different ages and stages.

INVESTMENT

I offer a selection of thoughtfully curated collections allowing you to choose what best suits your family and the memories you'd love to preserve.


Newborn experiences begin at $575

Most families invest bewteen $995 - $1795 in their newborn photography experience depending on the collection they choose and any printed artwork they may wish to bring into their home.


A $200 non-refundable session booking fee is included in your total investment and secures your place in my calendar. It also covers the thoughtful planning, styling and preparation that goes into creating a relaxed, personalised experience for you and your family. The fee is transferable should we need to postpone your session for any reason. There’s no need to worry if your baby arrives sooner or later than your due date as  I reserve a limited number of newborn sessions each month to allow flexibility around your baby’s arrival.

FAQ

Can parents and siblings be included?

Absolutely. Newborn sessions are designed to celebrate your growing family, so parents and siblings are warmly encouraged to be part of the experience. These connection-filled portraits often become some of the most treasured images from your gallery.

What if my baby won't settle or sleep?

Newborn sessions are completely baby-led. Babies don't need to sleep through their session, and there is no expectation that everything will go perfectly. We allow plenty of time for feeding, settling, cuddles and whatever your baby needs. I gently work around your baby rather than rushing them through the session.

What if my baby arrives earlier or later than expected?

There's no need to worry. Your session is reserved around your due date and once your baby arrives, we'll simply confirm or change the session date based on their arrival.

What should we wear?

You'll receive a detailed preparation guide before your session with styling suggestions for the whole family. Simple, timeless clothing photographs beautifully and keeps the focus on the connection between you and your baby.

My baby has flaky skin, baby acne or little scratches. Will these be edited?

Absolutely. These are all perfectly normal during the newborn stage. Every selected portrait is professionally hand edited to soften temporary blemishes while preserving your baby's natural features, ensuring your images still look beautiful and authentic.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Flexible payment options are available for advance bookings to help spread your investment over time before your session. If you'd like to discuss a payment plan before booking, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
